(One hundred and eight (108) short and captivating two-word maxims taught at home, during childhood by-heart for guidance in day-to-day family life.)  

Love to do virtuous deeds.   Let anger to cool off.   Hide not what you can spare.  Give up not sharing with the needy. Broadcast not what you have. Give up not the passion.  Belittle not numbers and letters.  Accepting alms is shameful. Eat after feeding the needy.  Be of helpful conduct.                                                                (10)

Quit not the reading habit.  Speak not bad in envy.  Cheat not in measuring things and commodities.  Weave not on what you saw.  Be flexible like the curved Tamil letter ‘ngha’.  Take Sesame Oil-bath on Saturdays.  Be soft in speech.  Construct not leaving useless spaces.  Associate with those in harmony.  Attend to   your father and mother.

Forget not to be grateful.  Raise crops suiting the season.  Eat not robbing the public.   Act not against your nature.  Play not with a snake.  Sleep on a silk-cotton bed.  Speak not with deceit.  Indulge not in unfair deeds. Learn while you are young.  Do not forget virtuous principles.

Be not an extremist in religious faith.   Forget being harsh.   Penance is to protect all beings.  Lead a friendly life.  Get rid of meanness.  Drift not from civility.   Break not having made friendship.   Remove harmful thoughts.  Try listen to the learned.  Hide not a special skill.

Opt not to robbery.  Give up gambling.  Keep away from revenge.  Lead a life of virtue.  Be with wise men. Speak not falsehood.  Adhere to perfection.  Speak not as to turn away one’s face.  Visit not the Casinos.  Be perfect in what you do.

Roam not as to evoke contempt.  Drift not from the refined words.  Loiter not as a lazy guy.  Go about as a good man.  Love to donate.  Serve the Lord remaining a servant.   Keep away from the evil deeds.  Do not give refuge to grief.
